This issue of our Journal has some special features and innovations.First of all, it is a more capacious issue than usual: it contains two special issues, which we decided to put side by side to ensure that both would be published in an issue in the year 2022.The first is dedicated to the topic of the call that we presented two issues ago on Hybridization in the history of ideas; the second was proposed to us by a research revlon colorstay lip liner plum group on the anthropocene and geoanthropology, in which historical research feeds into theoretical reflection of strong contemporary relevance, and we found it interesting and innovative.Thus this is the most abundant issue in the history of the journal, both in terms of the number of contributions and the large size of some.We also duplicated the book reviews, to have a group of reviews closely related to one of the two special issues.

In addition, the presence of two special issues has prompted us to inaugurate a new essie tea and crumpets concept, that of the General Section where, from now on, even in the special issues, we will publish contributions submitted independently of thematic programming.We consider this an incentive to submission and, at the same time, a help to streamlining the publication of the article that are submitted to us, as well as a valorization of these articles.
